After school, on the weekend--something’s cooking, someone’s singing, “checkmate!” Learning continues at Yaxche after school hours in fun settings.

Nutritional cooking, chess, and musical theater are some of the after- and during-school enrichment opportunities open to Yaxche students.

And in collaboration with the Taos Municipal schools and the Lion’s Club, Yaxche helped to create Discovery, an after-school multi-site enrichment program for students in grades 3-8. An exciting Discovery option is Odyssey of the Mind, a creative team-oriented problem-solving competition with international participation.

All enrichment programs are available by student choice, sometimes with additional fees, and with the goal of keeping learning fun.
